    ICBUW's third international appeal was released following the Human Cost of Uranium Weapons exhibition in the European Parliament on May 17th 2007. From Berlaar to Hiroshima and now Brussels, it represents a continued call for action to ban the use of uranium in conventional weapon systems.

  • ICBUW Visits the Cluster Munitions Conference

    At the end of February, 100 NGOs from 30 countries met in Oslo for the first step towards a treaty banning the use of cluster bombs. The civil society event ran in parallel with the first in a series of high level negotiations between states to propagate a treaty outside the aegis of the Convention on Certain Weapons.
