The Problem

Environment
The environmental impact of DU in the countries where it has been used and the environmental effects or uranium mining, processing and enrichment.
The Veterans
Veterans who have served in areas where DU has been used are testing positive for DU exposure and suffering from a variety of health problems. Of particular concern are support troops who dispose of DU-damaged vehicles.
Workers
Workers in the DU industry are exposed to hazardous uranium compounds at each stage of DU's production from mine to arms factory.
